I am officially hooked. I started doing digi for about a month now but was just dabbling in it. Now i can say that i am an actual digi scrapbooker. What would take me hours, days and yes even weeks to complete in a paper layout takes me less than 30 mins to create digitally. Now, don't get me wrong, i still love messing with paper but with 2 active boys, I don't have the time I want to scrap and my older son just loves to sit at my lap and mess with my paper layouts. So, i would say that digi is the next best thing to paper scrapping but I think it's just as good! I may not be as good or creative as many talented digi scrappers out there but I sure having lots of fun! So, on to the digi!

ugh, the winter season is nearing...

As much as i love the beautiful winter season, i do not like it's share of colds, flus and the sniffles!! First my older boy was sick and now my baby boy has come down with a cold. They are both too little to be sick like this. :( If if could, i would take both their colds away and have them myself. May the good Lord above allow them both a speedy recovery.

The first few pages of my ever increasing interest in digital scrapbooking

Ok, so here you go....my try at digital scrapbooking. I was a skeptic at first about this type of scrapbooking because i thought that it wasn't scrapbooking. Uh, dur, was I very wrong!! This can be very addicting and just as fun and maybe even more than traditional paper scrapping. I say fun cause I don't have my son placing his cute and little dirty and sticky hands all over my pre set layouts that are sitting at my desk!! Yay!! That was one and maybe the only reason why I even tried the digi. But now I have even more reasons keep on doing this awesome digi scrapping. I have so much fun and I don't have to worry about my little boy getting into my layouts!! Now he is part of the layouts! anyway enough gabbing and onto my digi scrapping!!

Ahhh, when they find sleep, isn't it a wonderful feeling?? Unfortunately, for me, this moment is rare for me....ok maybe I'm exaggerating a bit. I think it's my lack of sleep that is talking.

Our Fun Day at the Pumpkin Patch

Although my son is 20 months old, this is the first time he was actually able to walk around and have fun at the pumpkin patch. And as you can see from the pics, he had an awesome time! It was a joy for my hubby and I to see our son having a wonderful time along with his aunt and cousin. The day was beautiful and pleasant for a change as San Antonio is notorious for it's hot weather even during the autumn season.

We were able to spend a good while there with our son and he didn't want to go home after that!! He was having too much fun! We are looking forward to next year, when his 3 week old brother will join him at the patch. That will be a joy to see, i can't wait!

Well it has been a good while since i have blogged about anything! I have been so busy with my two boys, it's quite impossible to start or finish anything! lol Wow, it feels weird saying my two boys since i have had only one until now. My second son is now a full 3 weeks old. Look, there he is below...isn't he a cutie pie?

and here is a pic of my 20 month old son, another cutie pie!

So you can only imagine how full my hands are with these two rugrats!! I can only say that the more i get to know them, the more i see myself for who i am and I ask the Good Lord above to help me be a good and loving mom to these two beautiful and sweet baby boys of mine. I love them so much.

Been away so long...

I guess i am not very good at this blogging thing!! It's been way too long since i last posted but for good reason-i have an 18 month old and i am 36 weeks pregnant so you can only imagine. Nevertheless, i have been busy on some projects! I have been dabling in several of them, i wonder if i will ever finish at least one of them. I tell my husband that it's rather frustrating to have so many ideas swirling in my head and not being able to just pick one and stick with it!! Well, i finally did that!!

One day, i focused on just one idea and it finally came to fruition last week and what do you know, I finally finished it. NO kidding! I made my some an owl softie out of felt. For some time now, i have been into this owl thing like so many other crafters have and I wanted to jump on the bandwagon. And I did! Not to toot my own horn, but I think i did a pretty good job. It's evident in the way my son tackles his new friend. Here is a picture of it.

It's not the best pic but you can see what the end result of the idea that has been swirling in my head. Hope this inspires you to make your own owl stuffie/softie!! Happy Harvest! Until next time, which i hope will be soon! :)

So now what?

I am new to to this blogging phenonenon and I was curious to try it out. It seems pretty cool, new way to reach out to those who share your same interests. I am pretty sure that blogging has been around for a while and I like the fact that it's not like myspace and similar sites although I am a member of the ever popular site, myspace. :) I think this blogging this is much more fun. Anyway, I wanted to share with people my own creative side. I am by no means an expert nor even close to being an experienced rookie but I have always had this desire to make more of this creative bug that has lingered inside for so many years. I enjoy scrapbooking, and have sold some of my layouts on ebay years ago and have made some for my own scrapbook. I also like to do any kind of arts and crafts, anything from sewing to drawing to card making, you name it, i enjoy it!! I can't seem to pinpoint and focus on one thing so i guess its a "capirotada" of interests! A capirotada is a common Mexican bread pudding made of delicous ingredients. Here are just a few pics of things i have created throughout the years. Hope you enjoy them and maybe they will inspire you in some way!
