Been away so long...

I guess i am not very good at this blogging thing!! It's been way too long since i last posted but for good reason-i have an 18 month old and i am 36 weeks pregnant so you can only imagine. Nevertheless, i have been busy on some projects! I have been dabling in several of them, i wonder if i will ever finish at least one of them. I tell my husband that it's rather frustrating to have so many ideas swirling in my head and not being able to just pick one and stick with it!! Well, i finally did that!!

One day, i focused on just one idea and it finally came to fruition last week and what do you know, I finally finished it. NO kidding! I made my some an owl softie out of felt. For some time now, i have been into this owl thing like so many other crafters have and I wanted to jump on the bandwagon. And I did! Not to toot my own horn, but I think i did a pretty good job. It's evident in the way my son tackles his new friend. Here is a picture of it.

It's not the best pic but you can see what the end result of the idea that has been swirling in my head. Hope this inspires you to make your own owl stuffie/softie!! Happy Harvest! Until next time, which i hope will be soon! :)

So now what?

I am new to to this blogging phenonenon and I was curious to try it out. It seems pretty cool, new way to reach out to those who share your same interests. I am pretty sure that blogging has been around for a while and I like the fact that it's not like myspace and similar sites although I am a member of the ever popular site, myspace. :) I think this blogging this is much more fun. Anyway, I wanted to share with people my own creative side. I am by no means an expert nor even close to being an experienced rookie but I have always had this desire to make more of this creative bug that has lingered inside for so many years. I enjoy scrapbooking, and have sold some of my layouts on ebay years ago and have made some for my own scrapbook. I also like to do any kind of arts and crafts, anything from sewing to drawing to card making, you name it, i enjoy it!! I can't seem to pinpoint and focus on one thing so i guess its a "capirotada" of interests! A capirotada is a common Mexican bread pudding made of delicous ingredients. Here are just a few pics of things i have created throughout the years. Hope you enjoy them and maybe they will inspire you in some way!
